On top of The DOC: Busra – part 3

Hello everyone, it is Busra again, and I am excited to share some updates since my last post!

Over the past few weeks, I have completed my Oracle Database Administration training, and I am really happy with how much I am learning. Each day, I am getting more comfortable with my work and becoming more familiar with the Oracle world. It is also great how much more at home I feel at The DOC like I have been working here for years. My colleagues and the overall environment make it easy to settle in, and it is a wonderful feeling.

I am also really looking forward to The DOC’s 25th anniversary celebration coming up in September. We’re planning a special weekend event from the 20th to the 22nd, and I can already tell it is going to be an amazing time with lots of surprises. I am counting down the days and cannot wait to see what’s planned!

Recently, I received a package that made my day. It was a hoodie for the upcoming event, and seeing my name, “Busra Gunduz,” along with “The DOC Family Member” on the box was really special. It made me feel even more connected to the team. I was so happy when I opened the box and saw the thoughtful details inside. I am already excited to wear this hoodie during the event and to have a great time with everyone.

Another thing I have been really enjoying lately is our afternoon ice cream breaks. Did I mention that we have a fridge full of ice cream at the office?   It is such a fun way to take a quick break, cool down, and enjoy a treat together 😉. These little moments make the workday even better and are just one of the many reasons I love being part of The DOC family.

As I continue to grow in my role, I am reminded of how lucky I am to be part of such a friendly and supportive team. The DOC really feels like a big family, and I am so grateful to be here.

I am looking forward to the coming weeks, with more learning, more fun, and more great moments with my DOC family. I will be sure to share more soon!
